1) Brush your hair.

2) Put your hair up into a loose ponytail but, one strand out.

3) Now take you ponytail and loop it through the hair tie but not all the way. You should have created a sort of loop.

4) Separate the loop into two sections. Then, take the stand you left out and bobby pin it to your head. Tada! All done!

Weird Beauty Fact Of The Day!

Despite being called the "Golden Age of Spain," having a tan was a serious beauty faux pas back then. In an effort to maintain a porcelain complexion, young women would eat clay, even though it often caused anemia or chlorosis. In the late 18th century, members of The French Court such as Marie Antoinette also obsessed over having flawless alabaster skin. They faked it with thick layers of white powder (made out of everything from white lead and talc to pulverized bone) combined with wax, whale blubber, or vegetable oil to give the face makeup a greasy consistency that adhered to the skin.

Weird Beauty Fact Of The Day!

Everyone loves long hair, but not as much as men in the Heian Period. Japanese women were judged on the length of their hair, with anyone lucky enough to have hair two foot longer then their waist being deemed the most attractive. Extensions, anyone?

Weird Beauty Fact Of The Day!

Ancient Greek women have a solution for every problem. Acne? Just apply curdled milk. Freckles? Cucumber juice. Wrinkles? Crocodile fat should sort them out. I’m so glad we have anti wrinkle creams now!
